I'm Jensen Wood, a cybersecurity major driven by a perpetual curiosity to learn how things work and a desire to solve real-world problems with innovative solutions. During my studies at BYU, I have developed a solid foundation in various programming languages such as C++, Python, and PHP, and continue to expand my knowledge in areas such as network security, data storage technologies, and virtual reality development.
While I enjoy spending time adding to my experience and expertise in the world of technology, I am also an avid musician, having played both the piano and the alto saxophone for nearly 15 years. I have also developed a love of the great outdoors – as long as they can be experienced from the back of a motorcycle – and am a casual enthusiast of card games such as Blackjack and Texas Hold 'em.
As the second (and favorite) of nine children, I was raised with a strong sense of responsibility and a keen awareness of the needs of those around me, both of which are traits that serve me well to this day. As I continue to develop my skills in cybersecurity in the hopes that I will be able to make the world a better and safer place, I attribute my many successes to my family for shaping me into the person I am today.
