Cybersecurity (BS) with Mathematics minor, April 2027
IT& Cybersecurity (MS), December 2028

I am a senior in the Cybersecurity program at Brigham Young University, minoring in Math, and a CyberCorps Scholarship for Service recipient. I will graduate in April 2027 and then complete my master's degree in Cybersecurity and IT in Winter 2028. I grew up right outside of Washington, DC in Nokesville, Virginia, where I developed a strong desire to help defend our nation. I currently work as a research assistant in the BYU Cybersecurity department, where my research focuses on human-computer interaction and social engineering. I am studying how targeted training can help students, especially incoming freshmen, recognize and resist phishing and impersonation attacks. I also help maintain a SOC tabletop training platform used for incident response exercises. This past summer I was a security intern at Zeta Associates, where I worked on securing and monitoring large language models, and I am excited to continue that work in AI security during my graduate studies. I work hard to achieve my goals, and I know that I will bring that same dedication to every project I take on.
